It was the 86-87 seaon that I first really followed the Giants. I remember watching the super bowl 21 when I was living in Long Island. Been a big blue fan ever since

phil simms is the most under-rated QB ever.

I live in Ireland and this was the first Super Bowl I ever watched…. been a Giants fan ever since! I have also never missed a Super Bowl since then , even though it is on tv so late over here.

THE best Super Bowl performance by a QB. Only 1 errant pass, 2 drops, and 22 completions.

I’m a year ahead of you. I watched the Bears win a year earlier. However, I was a big 49er fan, the reason, because Joe was speaking before the start of the 20th Super Bowl and I enquired to who he was and was told he was a 49er, so I decided to go with them. WE must have been one or two of the only guys watching the game back then

@JonnyImpreza Haha agreed. I lived in Budapest for Super Bowl XLII, was like 2am by the time the game started. Didn’t matter, I got to see my Giants win the Championship.

Elway SHould have at least three rings…those Old dEnver Defenses were some fold up artists…they got lit up in three super bowls.

This was a borderline mismatch on paper. The Giants were too big & physical on both sides of the ball for the Broncos. The Giants ran the ball down the Broncos throat & the Broncos barely attempted to run at all in the game.
