its true that arsenal got again a tropheeless season but when you look at the team , their average age and you see that with an average age of 22-25 you can beat most of the teams its already great . Its just a question of time if we can hold our players next season or in 2 seasons its garuanteed that arsenal will atleast win 1 trophee
True Arsenal fans will be the reason that Wenger changes a slant from an impeccable business model, to that of a club that can land trophies. At the moment, and yes as of right now, if nothing changes, mark my words that Arsenal will not be able to land a trophy next season. As far as I, and any TRUE fan should be concerned, that is one season too long for a club of Arsenals standings. Another Ajax? No Thanks.
There are plastic fans, and there are tv fans. Arsenal has accumulated loads of these over the last decade. I don’t think a true fan is just someone who keeps singing good times or bad. True fans do lose patience, and true fans do voice their opinions. I didn’t walkout at the Chelsea game, but I could understand why some people did. Its funny how all these “loyal” arsenal fans are so quick to bite their fellow fans, rather than accept they are voicing THEIR opinion.
Which is great for shareholders, great for players, great for himself, great for the board, and great for the prestige of the club. Its also good because it establishes Arsenal as a solid club. A club with crappy financial statements is well Tottenham!
BUT, I do question Wenger’s hunger to land trophies. Remember that what he says to the fans, and what he really feels are two different things. He is a smart man, and he knew by December that Arsenal had no hope of landing the league.
Die hard fans are headless chickens, who would drop they’re pants and take it in the ass for their “club”. The Arsenal board don’t care about these “fans” more like slaves actually, because they’ll always be around. These slaves are nothing more than season tickets and revenue for the board, a mouthpiece for the players and a pat on the back for the manager.
Arsene Wenger has made a very good business model, I mean really top notch, which generates profits like crazy.
What’s wrong with believing that your team will do better? And what about the 07/08 season? I swear, if Eduardo hadn’t been injured we would have won the title. I believe next season will truly be our season. Everyone will hopefully be fit at the start and we will have a few new signings. I knew this season would be tough, but I’m proud that we made it as far as we did and how we performed in the league during the second half of the season.
Dude I totally agree I’m from Perth I wore my gunners shirt and my scarf. No way I’ll turn my back on these guys. As for all those fans that leave… Pathetic. I mean ok if fans leave at Perth glory but not for a club like arsenal. Always look on the bright side. The trophy’s will come.
i come from the land down under. this season ive been disgusted with the amount of times the fans have left early this season. when we lost 3-1 too man utd alot of fans left, and for the fans who stayed they are the real fans. look, i know you guys are probably thinking what would an australian know? just take a look at newcastle fans when they got relegated. they were cheering. that is die hard i tell you. and when we lost too man utd i wore my arsenal scarf too school. arsenal 4 eva!!
this time next season.
the people who ‘disrespect’ arsenal.
we’ll see what we have done.
i’m sure that we will win silverware.
we’re that club that football owe.

Tottenham always chicken out when it comes to the League.
Arsenal are the best, because we don’t think about the cups and with Tottenham Hotspurless they just for the cup.
Tottenham are a joke club.
