February 28, 2010 by

A sudden gust of wind pulls out the sign boards on the side of the field and blows them viciously across the pitch, hitting the linesman and a few players!

  5. jonty129 on February 28th, 2010 12:42 pm

And the left bicep of a rugby player weighs as much as the entire defence of an nfl team!

shut up you goofy brits. i can’t help but read your comments in that annoying ass accent. if they were REAL football players, those weak ass signs wouldnt have even phased them. an NFL linebacker’s leg weighs more than a faggy soccer player’s entire body.

I think it’s funny that people call Americans “yanks” like it’s some kind of insult…

  19. jonty129 on February 28th, 2010 12:42 pm

not in south africa. Sorry, but soccer is the common name for football in South Africa.

  20. PitMonster69 on February 28th, 2010 12:42 pm

For the people who know the beautiful game it is called FOOTBALL! when football went across the pond the americans called it association football, them being american decided to shorten this to as-soc, this was also too long for the yanks so then it became known as soccer. its proper name ‘football’ is still used, and always will be, everywhere else in the world. (except austrlia)

As someone else pointed out, the United States isn’t the only country that calls it soccer. “Ignorant Twat” – such a British insult. lol

  22. markoozbeats on February 28th, 2010 12:42 pm

    P.D: that comment’s 4 Greyzone

  23. markoozbeats on February 28th, 2010 12:42 pm

Soccer in Spain’s “fútbol”, and it’s pronunciation sounds exactly like “football”. Maybe sounds stupid 4 you, but believe me, talking about something you don’t know is even more stupid.
