How to Make Super Bowl Wings That Are Better-Than-Deep-Fried-But-Still-Low-Fat, With Teriyaki

June 12, 2010 by

For more like this, join my occasional mail list at www.cookingfordads.net Try these out for your next football game party or any kind of party. These are about as low fat as a wing can get but are better than the deep fried kind, I promise! The key is the Baking Powder, it makes the wings super crunchy. Try it, take a pic, send it to me, and let me know what you think. Go Vikes!

@Fathercoffee Grape seed oil isn’t readily available everywhere and also is a little pricey. I try to use ingredients that people world wide have access to. These are super healthy because they’re not deep fried. I guess that is only healthy in relation to other wings, not broccoli.

Why not dip them in Grape seed oil, THEN put them into the flour mix? How are they “Super Healthy”?

Great recipe. Perfect for watching football, though the Superbowl is on in the middle of the night here because of the time difference.

I think this is a great method. I was scouring you-tube for a good recipe and I’ve settled on this. It’s realistic (economical and perfect for a simple kitchen [sans fryers, etc]).
