youngbpharaoh, you don’t care what science says? That’s one of the strupidest things I’ve read in a long time. Science deals in facts and proof. Religion deals only in belief with no proof to back it up. If you want to go through life not dealing with facts that’s fine but don’t try to force your beliefs on others as you fundies do. People like you cherry pick parts of the bible and stereotype people. And no, people aren’t mad at you. They just think your ideas are ridiculous.

Exactly! You’re operating from your personal ideology, in opposition to science and technology. You also cherry-pick from the bible to support your prejudice, rather than use it to live by. You ignore passages you dont like and pick passages in support of your personal prejudice. You dont live by the bible. You hide behind it.

@youngbpharaoh You just made a generalization about an entire group of people based on the behavior of one strange person. That’s lazy and ignorant. The only people who believe that sexual orientation is a choice are people who choose prejudice and religious ideology over science. Again, that’s ignorant and it’s a choice. You may choose to be ignorant, however, you should be aware that there is no evidence in the body of science to support your belief.

i never stated any stereotype i was just wondering about something i noticed with a few ppl. The only thing is i didn’t phrase it as a question, cause i didn’t care if anybody would respond to it. I’m glad you and someone else did though.
You only want to be mad with anybody who doesn’t have the same view. i NEVER said anything about anybody. all i did was ask a comment about something i noticed. (MY BAD that i didn’t clarify myself by saying “SOME”)

I’m going to have to give you a 50% on that. In your first sentence you did not say ‘some’. You stated that you wondered why gay men and women dress up as the opposite sex. No some there. In the second paragraph you said some dress like Chris Cocker. Possibly I was so repulsed by the first statement that the second one had no meaning for me. Both statements were stupid and stereotypical, as you are…bitch.

youngbpharaoh, yeah you did stereotype. No, you didn’t say all but you didn’t say some or a few either. I know because I am gay and I’ve been around other gay men and women for longer then you’ve been alive so I think I can speak more accurately then you.
Sure you can say it’s a choice for as long as you want. You’ll be wrong all that time but keep thinking it. Funny, I can’t seem to remember the moment when I was straight then changed my mind and decided to be gay. Why do you think that is?

youngbpharaoh, wow, there is so much wrong with what you said it’s amazing. A generalized statement like that fails every time. Yes, some gay men are feminine and some gay women are butch but the majority are not. If you’d take time to look past stereotypes you’d learn that. No being gay is not a choice. Acting a certain way is and that’s what you are talking about.

one thing that confuses me is why gay men or women try to look like the opposite sex in order to attract the same sex.
Some gay men like chris crocker dress up and feminize theirselves to look like women, but they’re trying to attract gay men who shouldn’t at all be attracted to anything that looks like a women. same thing for lesbians too.
That and other things cause me to believe that being gay is a choice.
