Being a born & bred Cornhusker, I can answer the question why some people don’t like Nebraska, using a quote from an earlier version of this vid…”From the outside looking in, you don’t understand it. From the insidie looking out, you can’t explain it.” We take our football very personally in NE, we love it, we own it, it’s part of who we are here. And, in most places around the country, they don’t. Gooo Biiiig Re-ed. GO BIG RED!!!
Gosh, I love Huskeraddict vids. The reason why it makes us the greatest fans in America is because we ADOPTED these kids the day they signed up to play for Nebraska. We support them, thank them, and truly love them! That’s what makes us the greatest fans…we love our kids! GBR!!
ohh, I don’t know. I’m just making fun of Nebraska… tee hee! About, all of my relatives are from there. So I have my rights. I visit there about 8 times a year. It’s really fun.

What? BlountDucks9 said: “…but you never hear nebraska fans talk about how good the team as a whole is. it’s suh, suh, suh.” To which I replied, “I don’t know what Nebraska fans you’ve been talking to, but they’re not the educated sort. Every NU fan that knows the game knows that there’s WAY more to our defense than Suh…”
Chill.
woah bitch! You did NOT just fucking go there! Not the educated sort? What the fuck kind of school system do you think we have?! Seriously, I want to know!
Those other states have way more people than that. We had four or five starters last year from Nebraska. Pretty big number for such a small state. It’s all numbers.
Oh no…I know the Huskers produce great talent, they are a great program (I got a lot of respect for ‘em.), I meant HS football. Yeah, you’re right though, I didn’t even think about all the kids that end up playin’ baseball outta Nebraska instead of football, but I’s just wonderin’, cause I know here in Alabama we’re crazy about it and produce a ton of talent, and I know y’all are just as committed to FB as we are…I’s just curious as to how come there’s a lack of T, but I gotcha.
@DandBMonk From the collegiate or high school level? There is usually one or two great high school players from Nebraska, but there isn’t the same kind of depth as the states you mentioned because they don’t have the same population. Nebraska actually produces much better baseball talent at the high school level then it does football. That being said, there are a ton of NFL players who went to school at the University of Nebraska. Hope that answers your question.
I know y’all love football over there in Nebraska, but how come a lot of college ball players don’t come outta there. You mostly hear of Florida, Texas, California, Bama, Louisiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan…you never hear anything about Nebraska…how come?
What about Amukamara or Gomes, at least one of whom played a more dominant year than Asante? O’Hanlon blew one play-so what? Not 1 play every game-just one single play. And that loss wasn’t his fault. If the offense had played up to production in that game, that one play wouldn’t have mattered. And I don’t think it’s fair to say Crick is no Suh. No player in the history of college football can be Suh, and Crick is Crick. Give him 2 years to prove himself.
true. noones EVER gonna be suh. but this is a team game and if you have the heart of a team you work together as a team. and thats what nebraska has right now. you can’t just pick out one player.

When’s the last time that a city team even won the BCS? USC? I think maybe the rednecks might know a thing or two.

Greatest program in college football, simply because of what it means to everyone that loves the Huskers and/or has played for them.

Even Nebraska’s best player of all-time, in my opinion, Tommy Frazier was from Florida!

That was crazy how Nebraska beat Texas a few weeks ago. I just don’t get it why Texas still made it against Alabama tho.
