Colts fan here–it was back and forth well into the forth quarter, all the way up to Manning’s pick 6. Obviously I hate the way it ended, but I think that this was definitely an exciting game, especially for Saints fans (which made up, what, about 80% of the viewers?)

Ha HAAA!! Clovis New Mexico should be known as the city that put out the guy who fucked up the Super Bowl for the Colts….

    Hank Baskett is ass

  8. illinifan645 Says:

@pipelinerful no actually, the saints have too many free agents and the colts only have a few who need to be picked up. The Cowboys are more favored then the saints to go to the next superbowl

This is definitely NFL Films worthy because this has to be THE GUSTIEST CALL made in Super Bowl History.

This is not going to be a classic NFL films replay. The video is 2 minutes long. Most of the time the players are just standing around. And we never see the Saints recover it. The video suggests the Colts have it and are downed and the refs start shouting “Blue ball” in the middle. You’d have to watch the entire 2 minutes to know the Saints recovered it and that’s way to long for a highlight.

Your statement: “Boring SuperBowl unless you were a Saints’ fan”. Thats says unless you were a saints fan it was boring. So it was boring if you were for the colts and not boring if you were for the saints. Also just because the titans win does not mean it is always an exciting game. The team you like won, that is it.

  13. MRide3000 Says:

    @sigsauer12

No I didn’t and I didn’t have a team nor did I have a bet. I find every single Titans game to be an incredibly exciting game when we win, so I understand why Saints’ fans would feel that way about the SuperBowl.

I am a neutral fan who loves football, and this was a boring SB. The only ones that have been less exciting over the last 10 years: bmore vs nyg, indi vs chicago and oak vs tb.

And that is the truth. Congrats on the SB. you won’t get one next year.

  14. sigsauer12 Says:

You just admitted it was an exciting game if you were a Saints fan. That contradicts what you are saying. If it was a boring game it was boring no matter who wins. It shows that you just did not like the out come of the game.

The ball hit Basket and bounced towards the saints as they approached the ball…

  16. fshstx121 Says:

@MRide3000 COLTS ARE HATIN!!! it was not boring it was back and forth until the 4th quarter in the books maybe not as one of the best Superbowls of all time but definately one of the best to watch. i hate the winner stomping over the other team

  17. fshstx121 Says:

@MRide3000 only no final drive of the game because the Colts fell behind by 14. There was no need for the final drive. WHO DAT

  18. fshstx121 Says:

To all Saints fans WHO DAT! WHO DAT! To all others this is the gutsy play that no one has ever seen before in Super Bowl history that change the game. That play rattle the Colts so bad they could not recover.
THIS IS NEW ORLEANS!!! WHO DAT!!!

  19. junkmandrunk Says:

im sad cause colts lost :(

  20. mandi62894 Says:

:) this was an amazing game, and the saints parade last night was amazing, too.

  21. Craigart14 Says:

The Saints’ Chris Reis lost it, too. Too bad we can’t see what happened under that pile. I hardly think you can blame a 31-17 loss on one player.

  22. MRide3000 Says:

I’ve watched this video dozens of times now and I still can’t see the ball hitting Basket. I believe it happened, why else would everyone be saying it, but I still have not seen what Basket did. Anyone else agree?

  23. MRide3000 Says:

No way; not even close: average offense, average defense and only 2 exciting plays in the whole game…Plus there was no final drive of the game.
Boring SuperBowl unless you were a Saints’ fan.

  24. MRide3000 Says:

What a boring Super Bowl. I’m happy for Saints’ fans, but as a neutral observer I found this game to be incredibly boring, featuring only 2 exciting plays with a bunch of mediocre offense and defense.
