   dude, Faith Hill has like defied the laws of imperfect live performances. i did NOT think there would be ANYONE able to sing like that with such a pure and strong voice until i saw this.

   @MrMhel2009- lol…what a joke!!! Not sure if you were serious or just making a joke but by this point in her career Faith had 40 million records worldwide !!! So, its safe to say that her career was not just starting or “taking off like a rocket” as you put it, she was already a well-established and well known entertainer !!! Just thought you might like to know.

   I don’t believe that story. Faith Hill has been around for a long time,and everybody knows her,she has been to Japan,china,you name it. this was planned awhile ago. she has been doing the theme for football for 3 years,so they had to know who she was! she had sung for the winter olympics in 1996 and over 2 billion people saw her.

   Faith is fabulous and is always ready to sing at a moments notice. she has been like that since she first got into music. first time she did a song like this was 1996 at the winter olympics,but it was not this song. it was “will the circle be unbroken’ a johnny cash song. did a beautiful job of that one as well.

   MrMhel2009, your story would be good if it were true, but it’s not…when Faith sang at Super Bowl 43 (2009) as seen here, she was introduced as the FIVE TIME GRAMMY WINNER – so she was already enjoying a thriving career. Secondly, she sang at Super Bowl 43 in 2000, already an award-winning artist (she began winning awards in the early 1990′s including cross-over awards in 1998 for her forays into pop).

   So your story about her being “discovered” here is nothing but that…a story.

    I heard Whitney was scheduled to sign and backed out two weeks before the game. The TV exec’s went nuts “who are we going to get now?” Some low level sound tech spoke up and said “Why not Faith Hill?” Obviously none the exec’s or remaining crew were country music fans (they had never heard of Faith Hill). They called her, she sang at the Super Bowl and after that day just about everyone knew who Faith Hill was. Her career took off like a rocket!!!
