Both Liverpool and Chelsea are alleged to be keen to sign £ 30m seed Ajax midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.
Jorginho Wijnaldum’s contract at Anfield expires in the summer and he has yet to sign another contract with Liverpool, leaving Jurgen Klopp looking for a replacement.
The 18-year-old helped Ajax reach the highest point in the Eredivisie, 11 points adrift of second-placed PSV Eindhoven with seven games.
Reports in The Express claim that Chelsea is also inspired by Gravenberch, with Thomas Tuchel possibly hoping to add youth to his midfield.
The Ajax midfielder is a key player for Eric Ten Hag’s side, having made 37 appearances this season, scoring four goals and scoring six assists.
Ryan Gravenberg joined Ajax in 2019 on his current contract that will last until summer 2023.
