Following Wednesday’s crucial win over Napoli, Juventus must now focus on their weekend encounter with Genoa.
The Ligurians will arrive at the Allianz stadium on Sunday afternoon, accompanied by several familiar faces of the Old Lady.
The open road between Turin and Genoa in the transfer market means that four players owned by the Bianconeri are currently on loan with Grifone.
The players in question are goalkeeper Mattia Perin, young left-back Luca Pellegrini, struggling winger Marco Pjaca, and lastly Nicolo Rovella who was bought in January but will remain on loan at the Luigi Ferraris stadium until 2022.
On another note, two Genoa forwards are linked with a move to Juventus, and they will be eager to prove their worth on Sunday with a convincing display, as Transfer market reports.
The first attacker mentioned is none other than Gianluca Scamacca, who was heavily linked with the Italian champions throughout the last winter transfer session.
The 22-year-old is actually owned by Sassuolo and the parties were unable to come to an agreement that would have added an additional striker to Andrea Pirlo’s ranks.
Nonetheless, negotiations could restart this summer, but Juventus are expected to shell out at least € 20million – which could include a player swap – in order to convince Neroverdi’s management.
The second Genoa striker who would be loved by the Bianconeri is Eldor Shomurodov, who was bought last summer in Rostov for a sum of 7million.
The Rossoblus plan to make a quick win from the Uzbek striker, and they would be willing to accept an offer of around 15million.
