Jürgen Klopp wants to sign a new Liverpool striker this summer – report

Jurgen Klopp is keen to sign a new striker this summer to complement the current stars of his Liverpool team, and not to replace anyone.
This is according to Simon Hughes of Athletic, who revealed that it is a “priority” for the coach, despite the shortage of other positions this season.
With the faltering form of Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane that term, Klopp’s proposal looking for a new striker may raise concerns that they may be replaced – but that is not the case.
Diogo Jota joined the fold at Liverpool last summer and has already proven himself a valuable asset to the team, offering the coach a substitute for the usual front three.

With question marks over the future of Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino, adding another intro to the list seems like a good idea to us.
Liverpool has been linked with a large number of strikers, including Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, but our best guess is that Klopp will pick a player like Batson Dhaka who might not be expected to be one of the first names on the squad.
That’s just guesswork, keep in mind – but a new striker coming into the squad, without at least one mane, Firmino or Mo Salah leaving, cannot anticipate the start of each match.
