It’s time to chat Antonio Rudiger – Talk Chelsea

Antonio Rudiger rose from being a player almost any Chelsea fan would have been more than happy to sell to one of our most important players in just 13 games.

I can tell you now that if there has been someone in the last few seasons who hasn’t criticized Rudiger and said he wants him sold, then there are very few of them. In fact, I would say with confidence that not every Chelsea fan would have fought against the sale of the Germany international in the last 3 or 4 seasons.

It annoys me when I see ‘I told you so’ posts online after a player, who has been rightly criticized in the past by fans who are always balanced and have a right to let off steam, then takes the form of his life.

And that’s literally what I’m seeing from Rudiger right now, the shape of his life.

Last night, against Atletico Madrid, he was absolutely everything this team has been asking for in years, a leader, a beast and an absolute player machine.

He stepped into the shoes of Atletico players and not only did he, but he was also one of the best players on the pitch.

I have never seen so much praise for Rudiger after last night, and it was fully deserved.

I hope he continues to prove his skeptics (which includes me) wrong, and that he continues to deliver these colossal performances and that he continues to be the true leader that he is today.

It’s clear that things happened under Frank Lampard and he lost the locker room, as you want to call it. People have emotions, people get angry, it’s only natural and it’s out of the question now who said what and who did what, just because the players have all put it firmly behind them. and move forward together.

I gave every player a clean slate, just like Tuchel, like most fans. We all want the same thing, which is to win games.

Rudiger has now become a must-have player for Tuchel in his current form, and to be honest, if he continues to play like he did last night and is the missing leader we were dreaming of until the end of the season, so yeah, I just can’t see anything. other than Chelsea begging him to sign a new deal, and that would be deserved.

What a turnaround on his part, fair play.
