Fans excited by “tasty” Champions League ties – and agree on ones to avoid – Liverpool FC

After scoring four unanswered goals beyond RB Leipzig, Liverpool secured their place in the Champions League quarter-finals. But who do the Reds want or wish to avoid in the draw?

Jurgen Klopp’s men will play their third quarter-final of the competition under the direction of the coach in April thanks to their last 16 victories in Budapest.

The Reds are in the draw alongside Bayern Munich, Dortmund, Porto, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Man City and Chelsea, with every possible opponent in Friday’s draw.

Each has its advantages and disadvantages, some more than others, and will prove to be an obstacle to overcome to reach the semi-finals.

Liverpool have met five of the seven teams in their last three seasons in the competition, but who will they face this time around?

Here’s what supporters had to say about who they want out of the bowl and who they want to avoid on Facebook, Twitter and that’s Anfield.

There was a common consensus on the ideal opponents …

“Some tasty potential fixtures out there. It doesn’t matter who we draw, but if I had to pick that one, it’s real.

“I think Porto and Dortmund will be better and avoiding Bayern with PSG, for now, will be the best idea.”

City and Chelsea, for their part, should be avoided …

“I think we have to avoid Bayern and Man City at all costs. I wouldn’t mind Real Madrid because I really think we can beat them.

Porto would be the ideal choice but it’s the quarter-finals of the Champions League and there are no easy games. Ask Juventus !!! “

And there were even light comments about avoiding Anfield …

Let us know in the comments below who you want in the last eight, and which do you prefer to avoid?
