Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer risk exacerbating some injury issues Marcus Rashford appears to be suffering from starting the striker against AC Milan today.
During the rather lackluster first half of the Europa League knockout draw second leg, the BT Sport commentator Ian darke spoke about the 23-year-old’s body language and noticed his apparent feelings.
Darke admitted he looked ‘a little uncomfortable’, while discussing the strapping / bandage around Rashford’s ankle with former Man United ace and co-commentator Robbie Savage.
Rashford warmed up with a bit of ankle support but he was taken out for the game, with Darke and Savage also hinting that the England international wanted protective measures restored.
Darke supplemented the worrying concern about the Red Devils’ injuries by saying “ he didn’t look so comfortable, did he? ”

Rashford had a bandage on his left ankle before the warm-up, they took it off and he asked for it to be put back on.

Just before the start of the second half, United replaced Rashford with an injured player returning to Paul Pogba. It is certainly not encouraging.
It comes just a day after Rashford dismissed talks of potential injury issues – along with questions regarding his shoulder – during the pre-match press conference.
Rashford saw part of last season ruined by injury so it won’t please fans to see the striker risked tonight, even though it is a massive game for the Red Devils.
