Zinedine Zidane may resign from Real Madrid this summer, there is already speculation in the next club

Real Madrid manager and club legend Zinedine Zidane could step down if Los Blancos fails to win the La Liga title this season.

Spain’s first flight is extremely tense – with only six points separating four teams with four and five games, the title can really go anywhere.

Atletico Madrid are currently at the top of the pile with 76 points after 34 games, below which Real Madrid (74) is separated from Barcelona (74) only by a goal difference with Sevilla in fourth place with 70 points – however, it is worth noting Julen Lopetegui’s men have a game in hand over the others.

With only four games left for Real Madrid to decide their season, the pressure is mounting on Zidane to deliver the club’s 35th league title.

According to Calciomercato, if the Frenchman fails to find domestic silverware, he will probably resign and leave the club where he has served as manager since 2016.

The Italian outlet speculates that the next possible destination for elite-level tactics could be Serie A giant Juventus.

With current manager Andrea Pirlo under tremendous pressure after an abyss campaign, Zidane has been advised to take the reins of the Old Lady if she leaves Real Madrid this summer.
