Chelsea return to action on Wednesday night in the Uefa Champions League when they host Spanish side Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues would be on their way to the match with full confidence after their 2-0 win over Fulham at the weekend in the Premier League.
Chelsea also have a greater chance of going to the final of the UCL this season as they held Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of Spain.
Prior to the face-off, Chelsea have suffered an increase in injuries as the report revealed that their defender, Antonio Rudiger, could be available for the match.
The report revealed that if Rudiger wanted to play for Chelsea, he would have to do so with a face mask on.
Remember that the German suffered a facial injury during a 1-1 draw in the first stage in Spain.
The reports revealed that Rudiger trained with a protective mask on his face with the rest of Thomas Tuchel’s team.
It would be a plus for Chelsea if Rudiger is available to play on Wednesday as they hope to win the UCL trophy this season under Thomas Tuchel, who took over from Frank Lampard in January this year after a poor outing from the latter.
