Lionel Messi has not yet made his choice regarding his future. When Dani Alves was asked about the subject, he admitted to having talked to his former teammate about it.
Between 2008 and 2016, Daniel Alves was the undisputed holder to the right of the defense of FC Barcelona. The Brazilian made Camp Nou history, and for almost a decade he was Leo Messi’s best sidekick.
In these days of uncertainty about the future of the Argentines, Alves (38) confessed after speaking with number 10 in Barça of his future at the club and did so by reminding him that nothing beats life in the Catalan club.
“I have told Messi several times: you were born to be a Barcelona player, and Barcelona was born to be your club. He has already given me advice so I can do the same. He once asked me to stay in Barcelona because there was no better place. ‘Where do you want to be happiest?’, he asked me. So I stayed, ”he admitted in The Guardian.
“I reminded him of this conversation and explained ita good friend once told me that Barcelona is the best place it is. I still have not heard from him yet, but when you leave Barcelona, you realize how good it was to be there, ”he said.
