Eintracht Frankfurt striker Andre Silva, who was previously linked with a move to Manchester United, is reportedly in talks with Atletico Madrid.
The 25-year-old Silva joined Frankfurt in 2019, initially on loan, before making his permanent switch to a deal worth just £ 2.7m next season.
Arriving in Germany to rebuild his career, Silva’s two years in the Bundesliga did not disappoint.
Especially this season, the Portuguese striker enjoyed excellent form.
Participating in 31 games in all competitions so far this season, Silva has already collected a great 26 goals and nine assists.
The striker’s form was so impressive that he recently saw his name associated with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s summer move at Manchester United.
Despite the positive news that Edinson Cavani may eventually extend his stay at Old Trafford, the Red Devils have been hit after reports recently surfaced that Silva is in talks with Atletico Madrid.
According to Sky Sports Germany (as reported by AS), Atletico Madrid and Silva had several conversations with the situation, described as “very, very hot”.
Silva reportedly has a minimum exemption clause estimated at around € 30 million.
