Jose Mourinho has been named Roma’s new manager after the Italian professional football club announced he will take over for the 2021-22 season.
The Special One has signed a three-year deal to carry it through to 2024.
Recall that the Portuguese boss, 58, was sacked by Spurs just two weeks ago, with Tottenham’s chances of qualifying for Europe at stake.
“We are delighted and delighted to welcome Jose Mourinho to the AS Roma family,” said club president Dan Friedkin and vice president Ryan Friedkin.
“A great champion who has won trophies at all levels, Jose will bring tremendous leadership and experience to our ambitious project.
“Jose’s appointment is an important step in building a long-term and consistent winning culture across the club.”
