A recent report has claimed that Chelsea billionaire owner Abramovich is ready to step out of the upcoming summer transfer window to sign a new striker for Thomas Tuchel.
This comes when a report revealed that Tuchel has lost faith in Timo Werner as a striker at Stamford Bridge.
For this reason, Abramovich is ready to bring Romelu Lukaku back from Inter Milan to Chelsea.
The Belgian star had previously played for the Blues, where he played 15 appearances over three years.
But at one point he was close to returning to Chelsea but eventually left Everton for Manchester United instead.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea are ready to bring back Lukaku, who is now the top scorer in Italian Serie A, as he has 61 goals to his name in 92 matches for Inter Milan.
He also helped Inter end Juventus’ dominance in the Italian league.
It is believed that Abramovich is willing to do anything to bring the Belgian international back to Stamford Bridge.
However, it is uncertain whether Inter Milan will allow any move for Lukaku during the summer window, unless the deal is worth it.
It is also uncertain whether Lukaku will return to England yet.
