Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly “investigated” the possibility of signing Norwich City full-back Max Aarons, amid speculation about the defender’s future.
Spurs have expressed their interest in the 21-year-old until now, but they will continue to pursue the youngster to fill the void this summer.
Football Insider reports that the Canary Islands are willing to let Aarons travel if their price of £ 30m. Is fulfilled and a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ could force the Championship outfit to sell England Under-21 internationally.
The agreement says that if the youngster lived on Carrow Road for another season after relegation from the English top flight in 2020, he would be able to travel after earning this season.
Aarons has made his first team debut in 2018 and has made 129 appearances for the club.
