Almeria’s Sadiq keen on Golden Boot and La Liga qualification

The Nigerian has expressed his desire to win the individual award and help the Rojiblancos return to Spain’s elite division
Umar Sadiq hopes to win the Segunda Division Golden Boot and help Almeria return to La Liga.
The former Nigeria youth international joined the Rojiblancos on the Serbian side of Partizan for a five-year contract on October 5, 2020.
He was an instant hit for Rubi’s side in helping them stay in contention for a La Liga spot.

Manager Rubi signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Almería on April 28, replacing Jose Manuel Gomes, who was sacked for poor performance.
The 24-year-old also gave his assessment of his boss and compared him to a teacher.
