According to the Daily Star, Ole Gunner Solskjaer will miss a preferred transfer target as Red Devils Academy graduate Sam Johnstone prefers a transfer to West Ham to Manchester United.
The 28-year-old, leaving West Bromwich Albion, looks like a predestined result due to Johnstone’s stellar performances and the fact that Bugs are destined to be relegated.
It is reported that Johnstone, who was on loan to seven clubs at the time of United’s books, is aware that first-team football will be guaranteed by West Ham, which would not be the case at Old Trafford.
The “star” claims that David de Gea is now looking to leave Manchester and that Johnstone’s friend and his colleague, Dean Henderson, is not ready to give up the №1 place soon.
It added that Johnstone’s position on transfer interest rates could leave the Red Devils content with the transfer of veteran stopper Tom Heaton, who has not played an excellent tournament in more than 16 months.

Johnstone was amazing in his first season in the Premier League, with exquisite displays that won the ace in England and now there are many opportunities for a summer shift.
ESPN also reported earlier that the spurs were set on fire by Johnstone, which is expected to cost about 18 million pounds.
Not surprisingly, West Ham is looking at a long-term stopper, as solid servant Lukasz Fabianski has just turned 36, and they may want to get ahead of the curve in their future planning.
