Juventus must be willing to sacrifice another season for lasting change to happen -Juvefc.com

It’s been a bad season for Juventus and it’s a season they’ll never want to experience again.

After winning nine straight league titles, no one would have thought of fighting for a top-four spot in this campaign.

We can say that one of the reasons for this is that they made the inexperienced Andrea Pirlo their last manager.

But Juve started to show cracks compared to last season when Inter Milan rallied late to close the gap between the two top-ranked teams.

Pirlo’s inexperience helped, but a change was inevitable and Juve probably never prepared for it.

Naming Pirlo our new manager hasn’t worked out perfectly, but our former team members haven’t shown as much commitment as in previous seasons either.

Maybe they are tired or need more time with Pirlo to understand his demands, but this season wouldn’t have been much better under another manager I would say.

If Juve keep him as a manager they should support him with new players this summer and they will need some time to blend in as well.

To think that a new manager will turn us into champions again next season is also too positive.

I think Pirlo will need another season for this team to fire again and a new manager would also need at least a season to get his ideas across to the players.

So we have to prepare for another bad season before our team comes back to the top.
