Paris Saint-Germain are stepping up their interest in Tottenham striker Harry Kane after their semi-final defeat in the Champions League by Manchester City.
According to Don Balon, PSG are even more focused on signing Kane now, and perhaps the Spurs striker has been recruited as a replacement for Killian Mbape, who is approaching the final year of his contract at Parc des Princes.
Kane seems to be on the move this summer after a tough season at Tottenham, and the English international may feel he is running out of time to win big trophies.
PSG will be a good destination for him in this regard and will give him a chance to connect with the former manager of the “spurs” Mauricio Pochettino.
Still, Don Ballon names Manchester United as other suitors for Kane, and the Red Devils will no doubt benefit from an intensification of their attack.
Edinson Cavani is unlikely to be a long-term version of Old Trafford, while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has often relied too much on midfielder Bruno Fernandez for goals.
“It simply came to my notice then. I didn’t have as many leaders as I thought. ”- Which song before the game made Roy Keane question his players? Click here to find out!
Kane could be perfect to make Man Utd a real contender for the title, with the 27-year-old one of the deadliest finalists in world football.
PSG’s latest struggles in the Champions League seem to only encourage them to push even harder for Kane, so that could be bad news from United’s point of view.
