Werner pays tribute to this midfielder at Chelsea

Chelsea player Timo Werner has paid tribute to yellow team-mate N’golo Kante for his performance during their recent match against Real Madrid in the Uefa Champions League this week.

Werner, who scored a goal during the match, branded Kante with a new name when he called him the Beast.

He revealed that Chelsea are happy to have the World Cup in their team, as with his help he has now moved to the UCL final, where they will face Man City later this month in Istanbul.

“N’Golo is always really important to us,” Werner was quoted as saying by Chelsea’s official website on Thursday.

“He is a beast, winning the ball and fighting and running everywhere. The manager tells us every time he plays that we play with two players. ”

He applauded Kante for giving him the assist that saw him score against Real Madrid.

Kante was involved in the Chelsea game against Los Blancos in both the first and second stages of the tournament.

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, he has remained a key player that any coach who has taken over at Chelsea loves to have on their team as he makes it easy to pass the ball and also creates good goal chances.
