This is my unlucky season

Chelsea striker Timo Werner since arriving at Chelsea has several goals that have been considered offside in the Premier League.

In response to what happened to him during the match against Leicester City in the EPL on Tuesday night, Werner has declared this season his unhappiest.

Keep in mind that Werner moved to Stamford Bridge last summer for £ 47.5m. Agreement from RB Leipzig, while starting well with the Blues, he lost form and has only scored 12 times so far.

During the Blues’ 2-1 win over Leicester City on Tuesday night, the German international saw two of his goals denied a penalty kick.

However, he won the spot kick, which Jorginho converted to score another goal for the Blues in the second half.

“The first half was the picture of the whole season for me.

“I think it’s the most unfortunate season I’ve ever had and maybe will have. Offside, a clear penalty kick, and then I want to make a header, I get a little push and head it towards my arm.

“But when you are so unlucky but still reach the Champions League final and maybe reach the Champions League next season, all is well,” Werner told Sky Sports.

The German could be loaned out by the blues this summer.
