Chelsea get injury boost ahead of faceoff vs. Man City

Chelsea have suffered an injury increase ahead of their face against Man City in the Uefa Champions League final to be held tonight in Porto, Portugal.

The report revealed that Chelsea players; Eduordy Mendy and N’Golo Kante will be available for the match as the duo have been reported fit for the match.

The reports revealed that Mendy and Kante joined the rest of the team during training during the week before traveling out to Portugal before tonight’s clash.

It was revealed that neither Mendy nor Kante have since experienced setbacks, and Tuchel reported a clean health bill on Friday.

“No injuries and I hope it stays that way until after training today – Edouard Mendy and N’Golo Kante are in form,” he said.

Keep in mind that Mendy suffered a rib injury after colliding with the post during their 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa and was replaced by Kepa Arrizabalaga at the break.

Kante, on the other hand, missed the game at Villa Park as a precautionary measure.

With the two players likely to start tonight, the Blues have an advantage in winning the match ahead of Man City, hoping to win their first UCL trophy.
