The day is here. A legendary tie that rarely fails to impress.
Tuchel’s Blues visit Klopp’s Reds in what is touted to be a thrilling and vital encounter in the race for the top four.
Chelsea failed to take advantage and go one point ahead of West Ham United into the fourth position, thanks to a dismal attacking display against Manchester United.
Whereas, Liverpool won their first in five games with a 2-0 victory over Sheffield United that takes them just a point behind Chelsea in the sixth position.
The absence of supporters at Anfield has certainly taken a toll on Liverpool this season, as mentioned by Tuchel in his pre-match press conference.
Thiago Silva & Tammy Abraham will be Chelsea’s notable absentees. Liverpool see the likes of Jordan Henderson, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip all sit out due to major injuries.
Thomas Tuchel’s men enter the clash high on morale, having gone nine matches unbeaten under the German.
