Manchester City’s star full back Joao Cancelo has made a surprising admission on who he finds it most difficult to play against.
Chelsea’s skillful and pacy American winger Christian Pulisic has been hailed by the Portuguese.
Speaking to Star Sports Football, in an exclusive interview, Cancelo revealed Pulisic as ‘the most difficult winger’ he’s faced since moving to the Etihad from Juventus.
“I usually chat with my teammates about it. It may sound strange but for me, the most difficult winger I have faced in the Premier League is Pulisic from Chelsea.
He is a very skillful and fast player with the ball with quick dribbles. So for me, he is the most difficult winger I have played.”

The two have faced each other just thrice in their careers, all in the Premier League.
Joao Cancelo has been one of Pep Guardiola’s most consistent and best performers since arriving in 2019.
Pulisic has endured a difficult 2020/21 campaign so far at Chelsea, given his fitness concerns and lack of playing time. He has also been touted to move on from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, with Chelsea reportedly already hunting for a replacement.
