Real Madrid are interested in signing Donny van de Beek from Manchester United in the summer of 2021, according to El Gol Digital. It has been reported by the Spanish news outlet that the Netherlands international could leave the Red Devils after just one season, and that Spanish and European giants Madrid want to secure his services.
Madrid were interested in Van de Beek in the summer of 2020, but the 23-year-old midfielder joined United from Ajax instead for €39 million. Much was expected of the youngster when he arrived at Old Trafford, but the midfielder has struggled for playing time and is essentially a squad player at the English club.
According to WhoScored, Van de Beek has made two starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League for United so far this season, scoring one goal in the process. The Dutch midfielder has also made three starts and three substitute appearances in the Champions League so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.
