Jota chooses the ideal opponent in the Champions League final

Diogo Jota admitted that he would rather avoid his former team, Porto, in the next phase of the Champions League, adding that he does not mind meeting Primeira Liga in the final of the competition.

There are still a number of tough teams out there, not least of which are both Liverpool’s Premier League rivals Manchester City and Chelsea, with the draw scheduled for 11 am.

Our perfect opponent in the Champions League …

In a one-off game, we famously demonstrated that we are more than capable of regaining glory, even when the odds are stacked against us.

While if Liverpool manages to reach the Portuguese League final, that would be a perfect opposition, for the time being, we prefer to face the former Gota team in the next phase of the Champions League.

Without the main center back duo this would be a challenge, however, the recent form of Weights Capac and Nathaniel Phillips, not to mention the cover now available to Fabinho in midfield, has given us more than enough hope going forward.

We will closely watch the quarter-final draw and support Jürgen Klopp’s men against whichever side we belong to.
