Peter Crouch and Clive Allen suggest that Harry Kane and Son Heung-min could spurs

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker-turned-football analyst Peter Crouch suggested on BT Sports that Harry Kane and Son Heung-min might leave the club this summer.

Tottenham were knocked out of the European League after losing 3-0 in the second leg against Dinamo Zagreb. Despite taking a 2–0 lead from the first leg, Tottenham somehow found a way to drop the lead in a poor performance.

Crouch believes Kane should not be playing in the European League and that the 27-year-old is a regular in the Champions League.

Tottenham could still finish the season in the top four this season, but they were very inconsistent with their league form.

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker told BT Sport (h / r Daily Mail): “Out of Europe tonight, their season is hanging by a thread. When I look at someone like Harry Kane walking off the field, I think – it’s the UEFA Champions League, he shouldn’t even be playing In this competition.

“He’s a UEFA Champions League player, he should be there talking to Lewandowski, Haaland, Mbappe … (and) Ken. He should be there with these (players). He went to Dynamo Zagreb today and that’s the worrying thing – where his head?

“It’s not just the manager, (they) the players. Son (and) Kane, two players who deserve to play at a higher level than the European League. Of course they are loyal to Tottenham and we all hope they are, but matches like that definitely don’t help.”

Another former Tottenham player, Clive Allen, echoed similar sentiments, suggesting that both players are major assets for Daniel Levy.

Allen feels the lack of the Champions League could lead to players leaving the club in the summer. He added that what Kane has done for the club all these years is simply amazing.

Kane has been in great shape this season. He scored 21 goals and provided 15 assists in all competitions this season.

The English striker has a contract with the club until 2024 and is likely to claim high transfer fees for him in the event that he leaves the club.

Likewise, Son was equally great for Tottenham. He scored 13 goals and provided 9 assists in the Premier League this season.

The 28-year-old has a contract with the club until 2023, but has yet to sign a new contract.

In other news, he was informed of what Jose Mourinho said to the Tottenham players at break during their defeat by Dynamo Zagreb.
