Liverpool have had a tough time this season as they were unable to replicate the top form they lined up last season that saw them as one of the most dangerous teams in Europe.
This season has been very different as they have not performed well in the Premier League as well as the Uefa Champions League.
Another painful event that could happen to them and that could hurt the Reds team to some degree is the departure of their top scorer, Mohammed Salah.
According to reports, Salah’s future at Anfield is no longer certain as he appears to be looking for better opportunities elsewhere.
Salah has not discussed an extension of his Liverpool contract, according to Sky Sports.
The international Egypt is ready to be on the books at Anfield until the end of 2023.
He has spoken of a Reds exit this season and his future remains uncertain with Liverpool, who have yet to come to the negotiating table.
In another report, the Liverpool match against Man Utd, which was to be held today at Old Trafford, has been postponed after some Man Utd protested at the venue.
The new date for the match has not yet been set.
