Premier League Hall of Fame star Thierry Henry told the Kroenkes to hear Daniel Ek talk about his plans to take over Arsenal.
The Swede is preparing a £ 1.8bn offer to buy the north London club, with Arsenal Invincibles Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira stepping in to help.
“I know a lot of people wanted to hear about it, it’s true. Daniel is an Arsenal fan, ” Henry told Sky Sports.
He approached us, we listened to him. We knew first and foremost that he wanted to involve the fans. Bring them back on board and find out what’s going on.
He wants to re-inject Arsenal’s DNA, the identity that for me, I think, is long gone. You don’t have Arsenal members on the board and sometimes that can make sure it’s going in the right direction.
He has already reached out, has already said himself that he has raised the funds to make sure he can make a good offer, now they have to listen.
“ What’s really important about this is that a lot of people have been shouting that they want the owner to come out – we’re trying to come up with a solution involving the fans and the club’s DNA.

“ Let’s see where this is going to go because at some point there has to be a discussion as well, but he reached out. ”
