It looks like Man Utd have been given a transfer boost ahead of the summer transfer window and could resume their interest in Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.
This comes as recent reports revealed that the German top club have cut their transfer fee for Sancho.
According to reports, Dortmund are ready to accept £ 80 million for Sancho in the summer transfer window.
With no hope of participating in the Uefa Champions League next season, Dortmund have only had one option but to sign Sancho as well as their top-rated striker, Erling Haaland.
Given the need to raise funds amid the coronavirus pandemic, the SPORT report claims Sancho could be on the market for between £ 74m and £ 78m this summer and United are expected to resume their interest.
We’ll have to wait until the start of the summer transfer window to know if the red devils will move again.
Given Edison Cavani’s age, Man Utd have been advised to make moves for another striker so they can be taken as a serious challenger in the Premier League next season.
In another report, the Man Utd match against Liverpool in the EPL has been postponed after an invasion of the stadium by some of their fans.
