The Leicester City hierarchy is reportedly preparing to squander money over the summer to land Lil Bubakari Sumare’s midfielder.
Sumare, 22, has long been linked with a major move in the Premier League, but according to the latest reports, this summer may be the window that fans will finally see that the highly regarded Frenchman is making the change.
One of the clubs to lure Somare away from France is Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes.
According to a recent report by The Sun, the Foxes are ready to offer Lille 35 million pounds for their hard-working midfielder and will tempt the player himself with a contract worth 5 million pounds.
The Sun also notes that the club’s decision-makers tend to recruit one of Rodgers’ best targets in an attempt to please him at King Power.
If the club succeeds in their pursuit of Sumare, they will undoubtedly welcome one of Europe’s most determined midfielders in England’s top flight.
Soumare has played in 30 games in all competitions so far this season, including eight times in the Europa League.
