The South African international has been selected for the best Scottish elite player for the month under review
Glasgow City forward Ode Fulutudilu has been nominated for the Scottish Premier League’s Player of the Month award for April.
The South African international was in superb form for his club during the month under review, following his arrival in January 2020.
Fulutudilu has scored six goals, including his back-to-back hat-trick against Forfar Farmington and Motherwell for the Broadwood Stadium outfit.
Scott Booth’s side started the month with a 3-0 win over Celtic but ultimately only made their debut with a hat-trick in a 7-0 win at Farmington and followed with a hat-trick against Motherwell.
Her back-to-back hat-trick helped Booth’s side regain first place in the Scottish women’s standings, with a three-point lead.
She has now been shortlisted for the Best Player of the Month award and will face Brogan Hay (Rangers), Lauren Perry (Forfar Farmington) and Rebecca Galbraith (Spartans) for the distinction.
So far, the 31-year-old has now scored seven goals in three appearances for the club this season, including the winner in their 3-1 triumph over the Spartans last time earlier this month.
To win the award, fans must select a favorite player from the nominations list until 5 p.m. on May 11, with the winner announced two days later.
The Banyana forward teamed up with compatriot Janine Van Wyk in Glasgow City in January 2020 from Swedish Finnish champions Damallsvenskan Vaxjo, on a one-year permanent contract.
Fulutudilu will be hoping to continue his meteoric performances for his club in their upcoming outings as they host second-placed Rangers in a top-level meeting on Sunday 9 May.
