According to The Telegraph, Crystal Palace and West Ham United are keen to bring RB Leipzig striker Hwang Hee-chan to the Premier League this summer.
Selhurst Park’s outfit will need to bolster its attacking ranks this summer, and the South Korea international has been identified as an option.
Leipzig are ready to let him go for around £ 10million, and Palace could take the punt from him.
The 25-year-old is also on Everton’s radar as manager Carlo Ancelotti wants to add a versatile striker to his frontline.
Hee-Chan has scored 45 goals for Red Bull Salzburg in four seasons in the Austrian Bundesliga, but he has only scored three times in 22 games since joining Leipzig in the summer of 2020.
Asia has only started twice in all competitions and may wish to leave Germany this summer.
Palace could offer him the chance to play regularly, and he could pick them ahead of West Ham and Everton where the competition is fiercer for the odds.
Hee-Chan, nicknamed the ‘bull’ in his country due to his aggressive playing style and surname, has been praised by his international teammate and Tottenham winger Hotspur Heung-min Son for his hard work, and these features could be useful in Selhurst Park.
Brighton, Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers were all eager to land him in January 2020 after being in awe of his performance against Liverpool in the Champions League campaign.
Very few people can achieve something like this around Virgil van Dijk 👀

Hee-Chan was a thorn in the back of Reds center-back Virgil Van Dijk throughout the game, allowing the Netherlands international to score Salzburg’s first goal in the Austrians 4-3 loss at Anfield.
Such an exciting player could help bolster the palace attack, and his partnership with Wilfried Zaha and Eberechi Eze might be too much for Premier League defenders to handle.
