Arsenal center-back David Luiz was offered to an anonymous MLS team by his agent, according to reports.
The Brazilian international, crowned 56 times by his country, is approaching an Emirates exit this summer.
His contract expires in June and discussions are still to start with Arsenal chiefs for a new deal.

According to CBS SportsLuiz’s representatives contacted an anonymous MLS franchise offering his services.
They have the chance to sign him for free under the Bosman ruling once his deal in north London runs out.
A sticking point for a move is the player’s salary claims. He currently earns £ 120,000 a week at Arsenal, which is far more than most MLS clubs would be willing to pay for a 34-year-old.
Luiz is more likely to stay in Europe with three teams chasing his signing.
Valencia and Napoli have been linked with the defender in recent months. He has also previously expressed his desire to play for Benfica, which he represented between 2007 and 2011.
Benfica legend Nuno Gomes recently hinted that his former teammate could join the portuguese part.
He said, “Let’s see what happens. I remember leaving Benfica he was very well suited to Portugal in terms of his career on the pitch and social life off the pitch.
“He was already like a Portuguese in terms of lifestyle and culture. He had a little trouble leaving because he was doing very well and was very well settled here. But the offer he received, he could not refuse.
“He always said that one day he wanted to come back. I don’t know if it will be possible or not, but I would like it to happen.
Luiz fell in the pecking order to Arsenal this term. He has been limited to 20 Premier League appearances due to Mikel Arteta’s preference for Rob Holding and Gabriel Magalhaes at center-back.
He was excluded from Arteta’s squad for all four league games in April, before returning to the side for their recent 2-0 victory over Newcastle.
Arsenal will face Villarreal in a crucial Europa League semi-final second leg on Thursday night.
