Glazers to ‘sanction’ £90m move for Kane to appease angry Man Utd fans

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a £ 90million offer to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham, as the Glazer family ‘sanction’ the deal in a bid to appease angry fans at the club.

United fans have shown their anger over the club’s controversial ownership this week, with the Red Devils’ clash with Liverpool postponed for security reasons after fans stormed Old Trafford pitch on Sunday in protest.

The club’s involvement in the European Super League proposal sparked yet another attempt to oust America’s owners from power, as the Glazers have come under enormous pressure over the past decade as their heavily leveraged takeover has put United in debt. 16 years ago.

Despite the pressure to sell, The sun report that the Glazer family are ready to ‘sanction’ an important transfer for Kane as they attempt to ‘appease’ disaffected fans at the club.

Kane’s future looks uncertain with the forward eager to win the silverware that has eluded him in his career to date, with the 27-year-old making no secret of his desire to compete for major trophies.

The England captain is the Premier League’s top scorer this season and is said to be ‘interested’ in the move, although the £ 90million fee mentioned is probably not enough to reward him from the north from London.

Kane – who has scored 31 goals and provided 16 assists this season – will have three years left on his contract this summer and Spurs will demand huge fees if the forward expresses a desire to leave.

Any move would likely shatter the UK £ 89million transfer deal that saw Paul Pogba sign for Manchester United in 2016 with Kane potentially costing over £ 100million.

United have always been linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, while also keen to sign a center-back.
