Signing Lukaku made it easy for Chelsea

Over the last few weeks, Chelsea have been linked with moves to sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan as they hope to bolster their attack.
Blues owner Roman Abramovich was reported to be willing to go to any lengths to ensure they can sign the Belgian international.
While former Chelsea coach Antonio Conte was considered the stumbling block that could stop the deal, the recent event at the San Siro has shown that if the Blues push on, they would be able to bring Lukaku back to England.
This comes as Conte retired as Inter Milan coach despite leading them to victory in Italian Serie A, the Italian manager has now been linked with a return to England where he could take a coaching job at Tottenham.
With Conte gone, it is believed that it will come with a better advantage for the Blues as they would be able to bring Lukaku on board if they can drop the right fee.
The reports revealed that Kepa Arrizabalaga, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tammy Abraham are all considered to be in excess of the demands of Stamford Bridge and could be sold to raise funds for people like Lukaku before the 2021/22 campaign.
